02/02/2010: AVERAGE PRICE OF GREEK AND FOREIGN BOOKS FOR THE YEAR 2008

The managers of Greek Academic Libraries need a toolkit to estimate approximately the money that is necessary for books acquisition (greek and foreign), in order to manage their budget in the most appropriate way. Taking into account the above necessity MOPAB carried out a research related to the Average Price of Books in Greece (greek and foreign) for the year 2008. The specific research is available to everyone that interested, in PDF format from "PUBLICATIONS" menu.

25/01/2006: STANDARDIZED QUESTIONS FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE GREEK ACADEMIC LIBRARIES

With this text MOPAB aims at the creation of a specific standardized way of calculating statistical data and performance indicators for the Greek Academic Libraries.
In the specific study all the questions of the annual questionnaire, being distributed every year by MOPAB, are presented in detail and collection or calculation methods are being recommended. It is also mentioned which questions are used for the calculation of specific statistical data.





25/01/2006: PERFORMANCE INDICATORS FOR THE GREEK ACADEMIC LIBRARIES

At the Meeting of the Representatives of the Greek Academic Libraries, that took place in Ioannina in 27th of April 2001, a specific number of performance indicators have been set up, in order to be used at the Greek Academic Libraries performance evaluation.
The basic aim of the specific study is related with MOPAB's efforts to observe annually the status of the Greek Academic Libraries contributing to their evaluation.

For the first time MOPAB includes in its report some new indicators that had been established in the meeting of representatives of Greek Academic Libraries on April 27, 2001 in Ioannina.

17/02/2003: RECONSTRUCTION OF MOPAB's WEBSITE

The website of Total Quality Management Unit of Greek Academic Libraries has been reconstructed, in order to offer its new services.

Our ultimate goal is these pages to function as a contact-bridge between Greek Academic Libraries and those who are interested in libraries performance measurement.

Therefore has been created a database, where every Academic Library in Greece can enter its own data. Once the data are collected the TQMU's Information System will be designed in order to make all the necessary statistical analysis. The data will be available in Greek and in English.

We are willing to hear your suggestions.
